The COVID-19 pandemic has left over 165 million students without face-to-face classes. The temporary closing of schools will strongly impact learning and dropout rates, especially for the most vulnerable students and families.
However, this context also presents us with an opportunity to transform education, improve quality and make education more equitable and inclusive. To this end, civil society organizations are working together with governments to implement programs for educational innovation, new technologies, teacher training, and many others so that all children in our region can learn.
Join this conversation to learn about the perspectives of experts and authorities from Ecuador, Colombia, REDUCA, Empresarios por la Educación - Guatemala, Boston College, MIT Media Lab, the OECD and the IDB.
