Uthabiti Africa

Uthabiti is a Kenyan-founded childcare-focused market facilitator with the vision to accelerate the growth of the childcare market in Africa, with Kenya as a pilot. Uthabiti envisions a functioning childcare market that is anchored by a good policy and legal framework and systemic, mutually reinforcing interventions. This market will generate jobs and income opportunities, primarily for young women, while improving the health, development and well-being of young children. Our work encompasses generating, documenting and using big data to influence policy and practice initially in 3 urban centres in Kenya and across Africa in years to come.
