  • Description of Scale and Reach

Whilst Kenya was the first hub in Africa, Camara now has hubs in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Lesotho, South Africa, Jamaica, Haiti and Ireland.     Over the last 8 years the Camara has used an iterative approach to learn from its practice, as well as developing as the market dictates. It has increased in scale, operating throughout Kenya and has also developed/adapted components of its model. For example, the teacher training component now uses a large base of volunteers trained in technical skills to cascade learning to schools in most areas within the country.
