  • Description of Scale and Reach

The program was initially started with schools run under the Jaypee Group, a well-diversified infrastructural industrial group of India. The Jaypee Group, which is located in remote cement and power plant locations, runs schools for the employee's children. Bhartiyavidya was initially introduced in these schools, later expanding to private schools nearby; foreseeing the need among government schools, Bhartiyavidya started to support information and communications technology-based education with the help of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan projects, an initiative started by the Karnataka State Government across the state. After further identifying the delivery of the quality curriculum-based content in schools, the program was expanded to other countries such as Bahrain, Kuwait, and Malaysia by Bhartiyavidya. It currently serves the various private schools, government-aided and unaided schools, other education charitable trusts and also through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program managed by major corporate giants.
