FEPADE's goal is to improve the public education system in El Salvador. It publishes and distributes AB-Sé free of charge on a quarterly basis with articles written by teachers for teachers. The magazine creates a framework to share best practices and experiences in the classroom to improve the quality of public education. AB-Sé is for all teachers and serves a comprehensive audience of pre-school, primary, and secondary educators.
Topics span diverse topics such as:
- Learning styles
- Lessons in environmental education
- Classroom games
- Teacher performance
- Uses of technology in the classroom
- Education policy.
Of the 40,000 public school teachers in the country, each edition of AB-Sé reaches approximately 2,000-2,500 teachers. Private businesses often partner with FEPADE to help finance the magazine.
