Mark Roland is a program director at Results for Development (R4D) where he leads various projects within the the organization's global education practice. He has provided leadership to a number of projects across a range of sub-disciplines, including evaluation and learning, innovation, and sustainable financing.

Duncan McCullough is a Senior Communications Associate at the Results for Development Institutes's Center for Education Innovations. At CEI, Duncan plays a leading role in website design and content, including CEI's blog, analytical reports, and various other writing products. He also is responsible for much of CEI's email and social media outreach, sharing our work and the work of programs we profile with engaged audiences around the world.

Daniel Plaut is a Senior Program Associate at the Results for Development Institute (R4D) where he works with the Center for Education Innovations (CEI) as well as supporting various other team initiatives. Previously, Daniel worked as a Writer and Copy Editor for Think Africa Press, where he contributed articles on conflict and development initiatives in Southern and East Africa.

Wambui Munge is a Communications Officer at the Results for Development Institute (R4D). Wambui directs communication activities for the Center for Education Innovations, as well as supporting the broader communications activities of the Global Education portfolio. Before joining R4D in April 2013, Wambui spent several years with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi, Kenya, where she most recently served as an Associate Information Officer.

Colin Bangay is the Senior Education Adviser in India for the UK's Department for International Development. He has worked extensively throughout Africa and Asia as teacher, researcher, and program manager. He spent two years as a lecturer at the World Bank Institute, Washington DC, covering issues of: quality, teacher education, decentralization and non-state provision. His published work covers a range of topics from non-state education provision to education responses to climate change, and education and disaster risk reduction.

Dzingai Mutumbuka currently serves as Chair of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA). Previously, Mr. Mutumbuka held various senior management positions in the education sector at the World Bank from 1990-2007. Prior to joining the World Bank, he held major political appointments in Zimbabwe, and served as Minister of Education and Culture from 1980 to 1988 and as Minister of Higher Education from 1988 to 1989.

Gabriel Sanchez Zinny is president of Kuepa.com, introducing blended learning to Latin America education systems. He is also a prolific writer, and the Managing Director at Blue Star Strategies, LLC, which focuses on Latin American issues of infrastructure, education, energy and international relations.

Dr. Gwang-jo Kim is the Director of UNESCO Asia and Pacific Regional Bureau for Education. Previously, Dr. Kim played a key role advising former President Young Sam Kim in the fields of education and social policy. He has also worked with the World Bank as Senior Education Specialist at its Headquarters in Washington DC. In 2004 he was appointed Director-General of Korea's Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (MOEHRD), and from 2005 to 2008 served as that institution's Deputy-Minister.

Dr. Harry Anthony Patrinos is a Manager at the World Bank's education sector. He specializes in all areas of education, especially school-based management, demand-side financing and public-private partnerships. He managed education lending operations and analytical work programs in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. Dr. Patrinos has many publications in the academic and policy literature, with more than 40 journal articles, and many widely cited books. He previously worked as an economist at the Economic Council of Canada, and received his doctorate from the University of Sussex.

Dr. Rukmini Banerji is the director of the ASER Centre and the head of the ASER Initiative. She has been associated with Pratham Education Foundation since 1996, and writes frequently on education. She has extensive field experience both in program implementation in rural and urban areas as well as in assessment, survey, evaluation, and research. Initially trained as an economist in India, she did her B.A. at St. Stephen's College and attended the Delhi School of Economics. She was a Rhodes Scholar at the Oxford University and completed her Ph.D. at the University of Chicago, where she also did her post-doctoral research.
